Making an Appointment
If you want to make an appointment with one of our experienced dentists for your initial examination or dental treatment, simply call Pure Dental at (571) 285-2577 and one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist you. If you schedule an appointment and are unable to make it, please call us and cancel at least 48 hours in advance so that we can accommodate other patient requests.
What to Expect
When you walk into our lobby at Pure Dental, one of our friendly team members will be there to greet you and provide you with new patient paperwork. This includes a health questionnaire and requests for your insurance information and your contact information. One of our team members will also provide information to help you become more familiar with our office and how we handle things like patient privacy.
Initial Examination
Your initial dental exam at Pure Dental will take approximately one hour. One of our experienced team members will ask you questions about your dental health and dental concerns and get to know your oral hygiene routine.
One of our dental hygienists will gently clean your teeth and Dr. Vaughn will then complete your examination. The dentist will make recommendations for proposed dental treatments as needed.
We strongly believe that educating patients helps empower them to make good choices to improve their oral health. That is why we provide detailed information about your treatment options and demonstrate how you can properly care for your teeth at home.
Pain Concerns
To ensure our patients always feel comfortable, we provide various sedation and pain management options. If you are undergoing a dental procedure and require anesthesia or sedation, Dr. Vaughn will meet with you to discuss your pain tolerance and sedation options and create a customized plan for pain management. Working together, we can find comfortable solutions for your treatment and allow you to get back to your life faster.
